Charissa helps create a setting where children feel both safe and capable. She’s passionate about supporting risky play in a thoughtful, well-supervised way, so children can climb, balance, build, and test their ideas while learning to manage their bodies and make good choices. Charissa also loves nature craft and offers lots of open-ended invitations to create with seasonal materials. She holds Early Years Teacher Status and a PGCert in Early Years Education, bringing strong early years practice to everything we do. Charissa also has a qualification in permaculture design, with experience teaching permaculture ideas to children, like caring for the earth, caring for people, and working with nature. All through hands-on activities that make sense to young children.
